Join Our Team: Publishing and Project Management Roles Now Open
Bring your rigour, your wonder, and your colour-coded calendar.
Dear Friends of Perspectiva,
It’s been a little quieter on our channels of late, not because things have slowed down, but because we’ve been immersed in the deep work of bringing several long-gestating projects to life—projects we can’t wait to share with you in the coming months.
In the meantime, we’re excited to be growing our team and would love your help spreading the word. Two new roles are now open for applications. Both offer an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Perspectiva’s evolving work at the intersection of systems, souls, and society. If you know someone with the right spirit and skillset—or if that someone is you—we’d be delighted to hear from you.
1. Associate Director of Editorial and Publishing
Remote, part-time employment (3 days/week), £50k pro-rata
Perspectiva Press is seeking an incisive, enterprising, and culturally-attuned publishing professional to help shape the future of our small but ambitious publishing arm. This is a strategic and creative leadership role for someone who’s comfortable wearing many hats—commissioning visionary nonfiction, curating companion media (from essays to podcasts), and building an author-first ecosystem for transformative ideas. If you’re lit up by edge-walking inquiry and want to grow something with soul and smarts from the ground up, this may be your next chapter.
2. Operations and Project Management Associate
Remote, freelance, 3 days/week, pay commensurate with experience
We’re looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy operations and project management generalist to help keep our wheels turning smoothly across all aspects of our work—from internal systems to public programming. This is a freelance role for someone organised and adaptable—someone who can hold the centre when things are moving fast, and still step into the creative swirl when needed. Start-up experience is a plus, as is a proactive spirit and the desire to contribute meaningfully to work that is alive, evolving, and in service of something larger than itself.
Applications for both roles are open until midnight on 2 May 2025.
You can find the full job descriptions and application details below. We look forward to hearing from you or someone you know!
Warmly,
Kylen Preator, Managing Director, Perspectiva
1. Associate Director of Editorial and Publishing (ADEP)
About Perspectiva Press
Our publishing arm, Perspectiva Press, plays a central role in this mission by bringing interdisciplinary, visionary, ‘H2+’ ideas and insights into conversation, creating a dynamic interplay that redefines and enriches all fields involved. We seek to inspire and challenge readers with 'edge-walking' ideas that address the pressing questions of our time, including ecological sustainability, societal transformation, and spiritual renewal. Flagship examples of our publishing ethos include Iain McGilchrist’s, The Matter with Things, and the Perspectiva Associate anthology, Dispatches From a Time Between Worlds, both of which exemplify the depth and breadth of our ambition. We currently have two exceptional books in production, scheduled for publication later this year, and at least two more equally compelling titles anticipated for release in the following year.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a nascent publishing house, helping to shape its trajectory and offering.
*Note to Potential Applicants: If you are intrigued by our vision but don’t see yourself fitting the role description exactly, we encourage you to keep reading—your unique skills and perspectives might be just what we need. We recognise that strong candidates bring different strengths, and we are open to shaping this role accordingly, including considering job share possibilities to ensure we find the right next team member(s).

Of Note for Applicants

We are open to shaping this role to fit the right candidates.
